The site of the Xiamen Prison Break Struggle is located on Siming South Road, covering an area of more than 800 square meters. It has an open-air aisle with iron grilles on the top.
The exhibition hall is divided into three parts. The first part displays pictures and written materials reflecting real people, real events and real locations. There is also a TV set in the exhibition hall, which is used to play clips related to the prison break struggle event in the movie “Spring in a Small Town”.

The second part displays restored torture instruments, which are placed in one “interrogation room” after another.

The third part is the real prison cell scenic area, which basically restores the prison cells at that time. There is also a relief “Stories of a Small Town” with pictures and texts on the wall directly opposite the prison cells.

Opening hours: Open from 09:00 – 17:00, Tuesday – Sunday throughout the year; Closed all day on Monday throughout the year (except legal holidays) and closed on New Year’s Eve.
