This scenic area is located in Siming District, Xiamen City. It is primarily characterized by its rocks, forests, and lakes, representing a harmonious blend of artificial and natural elements, and showcasing the historical and cultural features of Xiamen.
The scenic area is dominated by mountain rock landscapes and subtropical plant landscapes, complemented by numerous cultural landscapes. It has become one of the larger tropical botanical gardens in China, hence also known as Wanshi Mountain Botanical Garden.
The main attractions within the scenic area include Xiamen Botanical Garden, Tianjie Temple, Wanshi Rock, Taiping Rock, Huxi Rock, and Bailu Cave.
