The Sea Pearl Tower features a Non-Material Cultural Heritage Museum and a 360-degree panoramic viewing platform overlooking the marine garden. Ascending to 195 meters, one can enjoy a bird’s-eye view of the suspension bridge Haicang Bridge, the beautiful Egret Island Park, China’s Taiwan Merchant Investment Zone Hualian District, the small three links cruise terminal, and the former smuggling oil depot of Yuanhua Lai Changxing.
The tower is equipped with high-powered telescopes to experience the Taiwan Strait and the scenery of Jinmen with a clear view! On the top floor, there is also a sky post office, where you can make your own postcards, take LED panoramic photos, leave messages in the gallery, and receive photo-synthetic explanations. This allows you to share exciting moments with your family while enjoying the beautiful scenery.
In the National Non-Material Cultural Heritage Museum on the 18th floor, visitors can stroll on the Golden Pathway, symbolizing wealth and prosperity in the coming year. The old photos within the museum vividly depict the development of Xiamen Special Economic Zone’s reform and opening-up process. Not only can you experience the invaluable Chinese white porcelain, blue and white porcelain, corals, and antique calligraphy and paintings up close, but you can also immerse yourself in understanding the national non-material cultural heritage.
