Xiamen Xiantanwei Mangrove Wetland Ecological Park is a park themed around mangroves and is one of the National Blue Bay Comprehensive Improvement Projects. It is also an artificially reconstructed mangrove ecological wetland park in Fujian Province. On the basis of continuous protection and restoration, the ecosystem function of the park has been comprehensively enhanced, forming approximately 850,000 square meters of mangroves, thus becoming the urban ‘green lung’ of the blue bay.
The park is open from June 1st to September 30th from 08:00 to 19:00; and from October 1st to May 31st from 08:00 to 18:00.
