Tantuoshan Island is located between Damuyang and Maotouyang on the Xiangshan Peninsula. It covers an area of about 11 square kilometers and has a coastline of up to 50 kilometers. The eruption of volcanoes has created undulating peaks on the island. The rich vegetation adds a lot of wild charm to hiking in the mountains. In the middle of the island, there are two beaches only tens of meters apart. The east beach faces the East China Sea, and the west beach faces the mainland, so it is called “Sister Beach”.
