Xiangshui Bay, nestled at the foot of Niuling—the climatic dividing line between the north and south of Hainan Island—is situated in the eastern part of Lingshui County. Named after the spring water from Xiangshui Ridge that flows into the bay, it is adjacent to Shimei Bay in Wanning City and faces the Boundary Island from afar. Today, Xiangshui Bay still preserves its pristine coastal scenery.
Upon entering Xiangshui Bay, you are immediately greeted by lush coconut groves. Beyond these, the endless silver beaches stretch out, resembling carpets at lower levels and dunes at higher elevations. The bay is relatively quiet, and as you stroll along the coastline, the sound of waves is a constant companion.
Xiangshui Bay is open all year round, accessible 24/7. As an unspoiled beach with larger waves, it is advised against swimming in the sea. Essential tips for visitors include respecting the natural beauty and heeding the safety warnings regarding the waves.
