Xianxi Mountain Scenic Area, nestled in the expansive sandy land of Shidu and the remaining ridge of the Taihang Mountains, is a divine creation that boasts a landscape brimming with spirit and beauty. The area is characterized by its mountains and rivers, with clear waters meandering around the base of the mountains and verdant shades that protect the capital city.
Upon entering the scenic area, visitors are greeted by the Xi Shan Granny Temple, which imparts a sense of enlightenment. Gazing down at the tranquil Juma River, one can experience a leisurely realization. As you ascend the stairs, the scenery evolves with each step, revealing sites such as Guanyin Temple, Fairy Visiting Pavilion, and Fairy Gathering Pavilion, all of which exude a devout atmosphere. The Heart Pool and Spirit Pool also impart a sense of sanctity and purification.
Additionally, the karst formation known as the ‘Listening Wall’ stands as a testament to the area’s natural beauty, where it is said that the Buddha once preached scriptures, creating a lifelike scene. The Xianxi Mountain Scenic Area is open to visitors all year round from 08:00 to 17:00.
In terms of preferential policies, the following apply:
– Children: those with a height from 1.2m (inclusive) to 1.4m (exclusive) enjoy half-price admission.
– Students: those with valid student IDs up to the undergraduate level are eligible for half-price admission.
– Military personnel: those with valid personal documents receive half-price admission.
For convenience, the Xianxi Mountain Scenic Area offers a parking lot, which is conveniently located at the entrance of the scenic area in Shidu sandy land. The parking lot is free of charge, and the number of available spots is subject to the actual situation of the scenic area.
