Established in 1998, the Xiao Tangshan Modern Agricultural Science and Technology Demonstration Park is located in the eastern part of Changping District, in the ancient town of Xiao Tangshan, known as the ‘Hometown of Hot Springs’ in China. In 2001, it was named the Beijing Changping National Agricultural Science and Technology Park (Pilot) by six ministries including the Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Science and Technology.

It passed the comprehensive evaluation and acceptance of the National Agricultural Science and Technology Park in 2010. It is one of the first batch of agricultural science and technology parks in Beijing, a national agricultural tourism demonstration site, a science popularization education base in Beijing, a patriotic education base in Beijing, and currently a national AAAA-level agricultural tourist attraction in Beijing, covering an area of 1000 acres for visits.

Xiao Tangshan Agricultural Park features ‘technology + education + tourism’ and is well-positioned with abundant resources. It offers a series of characteristic projects that integrate culture and interactivity, such as southern fruits grown in the north, high-quality flowers, green vegetables, science education, agricultural experience, and hot spring leisure. The park integrates technology, leisure, sightseeing, experience, picking, gourmet food, accommodation, and health preservation. It serves as a carrier and window for the promotion and display of modern agricultural development achievements.

Xiao Tangshan Agricultural Park is like a green jade in the north of Beijing. It boasts an elegant environment, fresh air, blooming flowers in all seasons, fragrant fruits, rare birds, and colorful scenery, integrating natural scenery with modern agriculture. It is not only a good place for leisure tourism but also an excellent venue for learning agricultural science knowledge. As times change, we will keep pace with the times to create more and better landscapes for visitors and serve them better.

Open all year round from 8:30 to 17:00, with specific business hours subject to the day’s opening status.
