Xiaolu Spring is located in a stone cave at the northern end of Jijiayu Village, Zhangxia Town, Jinan. The cave is 4 meters deep, 2 meters wide and 2 meters high. Water gushes out from the rock hole in the cave and flows into a well-shaped pool. Then it flows through an underground channel and emerges into a square stone pool outside the cave. When the water is abundant, it overflows outside the pool and flows along the ravine, through farmland and orchards, meandering northward and flowing into Shidian Reservoir. Xiaolu Spring is a natural cave. Above the cave, there is a cliff, and huge rocks stand. There is a thousand-year-old cypress hovering above the cave. Its branches are twisted and powerful, ancient and solemn. Xiaolu Spring flows continuously all year round. The clear and transparent spring water continuously gushes out from the carved dragon head on the pool wall, splashing a snow-white spray of water in the pool. The scenery is very spectacular.
