Xiaoshan Congzhu Academy was built in the 26th year of Shaoxing in the Southern Song Dynasty (1156 AD). It is an academy founded by Zhu Xi during his tenure in Quanzhou. The academy is about 100 meters long from north to south and covers a total area of more than 6,000 square meters.
