Established in 1930, Xijiao Swimming Pool is one of the three earliest swimming venues in Guangzhou, serving as a base for national swimming training and popularization among the masses.
Xijiao Swimming Pool is divided into several areas, including a man-made beach area, professional racing tracks, and leisure swimming channels, a children’s pool, and a diving area. It caters to both swimmers and non-swimmers, offering recreational opportunities for all.
The pool is open year-round from 07:00 to 21:30. The specific opening hours for various facilities are as follows: Fitness pool: 07:00 to 11:00; 14:30 to 17:30. Indoor pool: 07:00 to 12:00; 14:30 to 16:30; 19:00 to 21:00. Competition pool: 07:00 to 10:00; 15:00 to 17:30.
Please note that the entire facility is cleared at noon every day, and all swimmers must leave the pool. In case of severe weather conditions such as typhoons or heavy rain, or under special circumstances, the opening hours may be adjusted.
