The Yutai Salt Shop was opened by Jiang Siqian in 1871 and later inherited by Jiang Zhaocong. After Jiang Zhaocong’s death, the brothers divided their property, and the salt shop was managed by Jiang Jieqing. In 1919, Jiang Jieqing went out to seek employment and the salt shop was closed. There are currently three storied buildings, three bungalows, and ancillary buildings such as kitchens and toilets.
