Xilin Temple is built against the mountain and has a long history. The plaque on the gate tower and memorial archway is engraved with the two characters “Xilin”. On the left and right are a pair of couplets: “In the western tower’s Buddhist courtyard, it is advisable to cultivate the Dharma; in the forest where Zen gates gather, one must learn Zen.” The exterior of the temple building is simple and elegant. Many film and television dramas come here for shooting. Opening hours: Open from 9:00 to 18:00 all year round.
