The Xin’an River is renowned worldwide for its clear and unique river water, maintaining a constant temperature between 12-17 degrees Celsius throughout the year, providing warmth in winter and coolness in summer. The unique temperature difference between the water and the air creates a natural wonder known as the White Sand Mist.
Moon Island, originally named ‘River Xianyu’, is a sandbar formed by sediment accumulation, resembling the shape of a moon, hence the name ‘Moon Island’. In collaboration with Shanshui Shengdian Company, an investment of hundreds of millions has been made to create a large-scale live performance show, which is based on the millennia-old culture of Yanzhou, and features lighting, stage design, and dynamic live performances. This show presents an unparalleled live performance experience for visitors.
Visitors can take a luxurious cruise to enjoy the dreamy night scenery, bask in the cool and unique mist, and enjoy the natural air conditioning, all while experiencing the unique charm of Xin’an River at a slower pace. The performance is open from March 1st to November 30th from 19:00 to 22:00; from December 1st to December 31st from 19:00 to 21:00; and from January 1st to February 29th from 19:00 to 21:00.
