Xincuo Village Ancient Fort is located in Chishi Town, western part of Haifeng County. Upon entering the front gate of Xincuo Village Ancient Fort, the first thing that catches the eye is a plaque hanging on the wall with six vermilion characters written on a gold background: Ancient Villages of Guangdong Province. Despite the relentless passage of time and the erosion of wind and rain, this ancient village with a history of over four hundred years has never faded in its former glory.
