Deyun Society is one of the large professional crosstalk associations in China. The association was initially founded in 1995 by crosstalk actors Zhang Wenshun, Guo Degang and Li Jing. After twenty-two years of hardships, it is not easy to come to today. However, it is gratifying that through the unremitting efforts of Mr. Guo Degang and many new and old crosstalk actors, Deyun Society is gradually moving towards brilliance. “Deyun Society” is a quyi performance group aiming at promoting northern ethnic culture, cultivating quyi talents and serving the public. With the tenet of ‘letting crosstalk return to the theater’ and doing ‘real crosstalk’.
