The Xishi River runs through the entire Xizha. The bustling Xizha Street unfolds along the river, connecting most of the must-see attractions in the ancient town. This is the main waterway for cruise ships and also where the landscape lights of Xizha are concentrated. Boating on the Xishi River at night is very dreamy as the boat seems to float in a river of lights.
The Xishi River is not very wide. Houses on both banks meander along the water flow, exuding the unique flavor of the water towns in the south of the Yangtze River. Strolling along the river or taking a break in a coffee shop or teahouse by the river and watching the black-awning boats coming and going on the water surface is very enjoyable. For friends who like photography, various bridges are good places to find a good angle and capture the scenery on both banks into the lens.
