Xu Beiwen Memorial Hall is located on the first basement floor of the new building of Jinan Library. Xu Beiwen has made significant contributions to the study of Qi-Lu culture, especially in the historical culture of Jinan. He played an important role in the establishment and development of ‘Taishan Studies’. He has conducted in-depth discussions on the legends of Da Shun and its relationship with the Dongyi culture and the Jinan area, and has carried out systematic and pioneering research on Qi-Lu culture and the historical culture of Jinan. The hall is open all year round from 05:00 to 09:00.
