Xue’ao Drifting, nestled in the valley of Longguan Township, Yinzhou District, Ningbo City, is conveniently located just 30 kilometers from the city center. The scenic area is bordered by the Wulongtan Scenic Area to the north and is connected to the Fenghua Xikou Scenic Area to the south. With the opening of the Longxi Tunnel in 2010, the journey from Xikou to Xue’ao Drifting Scenic Area has been reduced to a mere 15 minutes.
Surrounded by mountains and with the Shigumen Reservoir upstream, the emerald green waters of Xue’ao Drifting captivate the heart. The controlled water flow makes it an ideal spot for a two-person self-help rafting project that combines water affinity, challenge, and safety. The descent from the starting point to the end point is over 80 meters, with a total drift length of 3 kilometers, and the exhilarating journey takes approximately 1 hour.
The ancient tree-lined waterway in the mountains and streams features a mix of ups and downs, surging rapids, and gentle waters. The experience is filled with water splashes, screams, and laughter, offering a cool and refreshing sensation deep within the mountains.
