Xuefeng Mountain is a summer resort in Fuzhou. It is located in Dahu Township, Minhou County, with an altitude of 800 meters.
Legend has it that during the Five Dynasties, Wang Shenzhi, the king of Min, went to the mountain to make pilgrimages. After learning that “there is still snow on the mountain top even in the hot summer days”, he ordered the mountain to be named Xuefeng Mountain.

Xuefeng Mountain, together with Gushan Mountain and Qishan Mountain, is known as the “Three Wonders of Fujian”, and is reputed as the “No.1 Peak of Jade”. There are 24 scenic spots on the mountain, such as Luohan Rock, Wenshu Stone, Moscent Stone, Tiger Track Stone, Liuxiang Hall, Nanti Pagoda, Yingchao Spring, and Wordless Stele.

The Xuefeng Temple (Chongsheng Temple) on the mountain is even more famous. It was built more than 30 years earlier than Yongquan Temple and is one of the five major Buddhist forests in Fuzhou.

Opening hours: Open 24 hours a day throughout the year.

Must-see tips: Masks are required to enter the scenic area.
