Xue’s Mansion Bridge is located in Xue’s Village, San Kui Town, and was originally constructed in the seventh year of the Zhengde era of the Ming Dynasty (1512). The bridge has been rebuilt multiple times, but each time it was destroyed by flooding. The current bridge was built in the sixth year of the Xianfeng era of the Qing Dynasty (1856). Spanning the Jinxi River, it was historically known as ‘Jinxi Bridge’.

The bridge is 51 meters long with a single span of 29 meters, standing 10.5 meters above the water surface. It features fifteen bridge houses, a 30-meter bridgehead slope, and a large arch inclination, presenting an ancient and unique design with a majestic and spectacular presence. It is recorded in ‘Chinese Bridge History’. In 1986, the bridge was renovated with funds allocated by the Zhejiang Provincial Cultural Relics Bureau and public donations.

In 1988, it was listed as a third batch of cultural relics protection units in Taishun County. Despite its fame, the surrounding area is filled with modern buildings, which is somewhat a pity. The bridge is open all year round and accessible 24 hours a day. Essential tips: In September 2016, Xue’s Mansion Bridge was destroyed by a flood, and the reconstruction time is pending.
