Xunzhou Island is located in Raocheng County, Chaozhou City, Guangdong Province. Historically known as the Raoping Xun territory, it is hence named Xunzhou. The majority of the island’s residents are engaged in the fishing industry, which led to its renaming to Xunzhou Island.

The island boasts beautiful bay beaches with gentle underwater slopes and clean sandy shores, making it an excellent seaside resort.

The island is also rich in bird species, with the egret being the most famous. Additionally, Xunzhou Island features three major attractions along its shores: the ‘Three Stacked Rocks’, ‘Fairy Footprints’, ‘Carp Prints’, and ‘Bronze Drum Stone’.

It is open all year round, with full-day access. However, the specific operational status is subject to the daily opening conditions.
