Xunzhou Island is located in Raocheng County, Chaozhou City, Guangdong Province. In ancient times, it was known as Raoping Xun, hence the name Xunzhou. The majority of the island’s residents are engaged in the fishing industry, which led to its later name change to Xunzhou Island.
The island boasts bays and sandy beaches with gentle underwater slopes and clean sand, making it an excellent beach resort. It is also home to a variety of birds, with the white egret being the most famous. Additionally, Xunzhou Island’s shoreline features three major attractions: the ‘Three-tiered Rocks’, ‘Fairy Footprints’, ‘Carp Prints’, and ‘Bronze Drum Stone’. The island is open all year round, accessible 24/7, with specific business hours subject to daily conditions.Must Read
