Ya Zhou: A Tiny Inhabited Island

Ya Zhou is a small, inhabited island with a current population of less than twenty residents.

Its name is derived from its shape, which resembles a duck floating half on the water’s surface.

The island’s main rock composition is sedimentary rock, a type of water-formed rock.

On the eastern side of the island, there is a pebble beach with countless colorful pebbles, suitable for collection.

Due to the island being entirely covered with rugged rocks, visitors should be cautious when visiting.
