Yangkou Beach is located within the Yangkou Scenic Area. This beach is wide and flat with excellent sand quality, making it one of the better beaches in the suburbs of Qingdao.
Yangkou Beach is situated in a crescent-shaped bay called Yangkou Bay, which is about 22 kilometers long. The islands visible in the distance are called Dagu Island, Xiaogu Island, and Rabbit Island. However, Yangkou Beach is not an official seawater bathing beach at present, and there are no safety lifeguards on duty. For safety reasons, swimming here is not recommended.
The beach is open all year round and accessible 24/7.
