Yangliuqing Town is a historic town in northern China, with a long history and profound cultural heritage, rich in folk art. The town is known for its strong folk culture atmosphere. It boasts the three treasures of Yangliuqing: the theater, the archway, and the Wenchang Pavilion. During the Qing Dynasty, there were more than 40 famous ancient temples in Tianjin, including the renowned Chongwen Academy.

Today, sites such as the Puliaobao Pagoda, Bao’en Temple, and the Bai Tan Temple ruins still stand. The Shijia Mansion, known as the ‘First Residence in North China,’ is also located in the town. These cultural sites, along with the quaint Qing Dynasty streets, traditional courtyard houses, and ancient canal scenery, together form a beautiful and simple picture of Yangliuqing’s customs. Open all day from January 1st to December 31st.
