Yangshimu Scenic Area, also known as Yang Simu, is located in the northwestern part of Wugong Mountain in Anfu County, Jiangxi Province, which is a national scenic spot, national natural heritage site, national forest park, and national geological park. The area is dominated by granite peak forest landforms, which are diverse and majestic. With its main features of ‘strange peaks and rocks, flowing springs and waterfalls, blooming mountain flowers, sea of clouds and illusions, and frost and snow’, the area is a mountainous tourist destination that integrates ecological sightseeing, leisure vacation, outdoor sports, and religious sanctuaries. The scenic area boasts hanging plank roads, valley walking paths, high mountain slides, zip lines, outdoor sports centers, and antique-style holiday hotels, as well as antique-style quadrangle houses. The ‘two peaks’, ‘three immortals’, ‘five blessings’, and ‘nine dreams’ within the scenic area are astonishing, aligning with the traditional Chinese Taoist and Buddhist ‘blessing’ culture, showcasing the pursuit of ‘blessings’ and earning the reputation of ‘China’s Blessing Mountain’. Wugong’s unique landscape is all in Yangshimu, with a total area of 37.5 square kilometers. The Tianzi Peak (also known as ‘Shizun Peak’) stands at an altitude of 1764 meters and is connected to the highest peak in Jiangxi Province, Wugong Mountain’s Golden Summit, known as ‘sister peaks’! The opening hours are from 08:00 to 17:30 during the peak season (March 16th to November 15th) and from 08:30 to 17:00 during the off-peak season (November 16th to March 15th). The cable car operates from 08:00 to 17:30 in summer and from 08:30 to 17:00 in winter.
Concessions are offered for children under 1.2 meters tall, students with valid student IDs between 1.2 and 1.4 meters tall, seniors aged 65 and above with valid identification, active-duty military personnel with valid documents, disabled individuals with disability certificates, journalists with press cards issued by the State Administration of Press and Publication or the State Administration of Radio and Television, veterans with preferential treatment cards, members of the Chinese Photographers Association and Jiangxi Photographers Association with valid documents, and police officers in Jiangxi Province with relevant valid documents.
