Yangtian Mountain National Forest Park is located 45 kilometers southwest of Qingzhou City. It is named for its unique feature where a hole in the mountain allows sunlight to penetrate from above. Known as a shining pearl in the central Shandong mountainous region, it is celebrated for its tranquil and rustic natural scenery, earning it the title of ‘Natural Forest Park’.
The main attractions on the mountain include: Moyun Gu, Buddha’s Light Cliff, Moon Gazing Pavilion, Wenchang Pavilion, and numerous mysterious caves. Yangtian Mountain Lingze Cave is the first open karst cave, Yangtian Trough is a rare limestone dissolution basin in the world, and Buddha’s Light Cliff is the world’s largest echo wall.
Yangtian Mountain is also a famous cultural mountain, with Manjushri Temple being one of the three major Manjushri temples in China, holding a unique and significant position in Buddhist activities.
