Yanqi Island is the core area of Yanqi Lake International Conference Center, which has successfully hosted the 2014 APEC meeting and the 2017 Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation. The Yanqi Lake International Conference Center’s ‘Jixian Hall’ is the main venue for the leaders’ round-table summit.
