The Cishan Provincial Geological Park is located in Fushan District, Yantai City. Cishan was formerly known as Moushan. The mountain body is composed of granite, metamorphic rock, quartzite, slate, etc. The surface part of the mountain base is brown soil formed by weathered residual deposits. The basic geomorphological features are: ‘The central peak among the three peaks is majestic. Seven valleys and eight ridges are divided into east and west. The rocks are exposed and there are many cliffs. The remaining veins extend southward and the mountain ranges are heavy.’ According to legend, a meteorite fell here and became a mountain. The meteorite contains magnets. The magnets fell to the ground and became a mountain, so it is named Cishan. Opening hours: Open from 08:00 to 17:00 all year round.
