Yaohua Street, located in Liwan District, Guangzhou City, spans approximately 110 meters in length and is part of Fengyuan Street’s Yaohua Community. It is a well-preserved epitome of traditional Xiguan residential architecture and has been designated by the city government as a ‘Guangzhou Historical and Cultural Conservation Area’.
Throughout history, many celebrities have resided in Yaohua Street. Numbers 8 and 10 are the former residences of the famous Cantonese opera performer Bai Yutang, while number 30 was the home of Huang Yongyu, a prominent figure from Nanhai Hengjiang. Painters Huang Zhongru and Huang Zhongyang also grew up in Yaohua Street. Opening hours and business status are subject to the daily opening conditions.
