The Yasai Olympic Park is located in the south of Haiyang urban area and the southwest of Fengcheng New District. It adjoins the Haiyang tourist resort area in the east and the Yellow Sea in the south. The planned area is 78.7 hectares and it is planned and designed by the School of Landscape Architecture of Beijing Forestry University. The overall plan constructs an urban axis about 1,120 meters long in the north-south direction, including the ecological mountain forest area, the landscape area of the international conference center, the Olympic Park and the ecological island.
The southern part is built as the Olympic Park and ecological island, which is planned as small gardens such as fish garden, ship garden and net garden, rock climbing area, speed roller skating area and open gentle slope lawn. The northern part is the ecological mountain forest area. According to the urban axis of the overall plan, the mountain shape is adjusted to be in the same direction as the axis direction.
