Yazhuang Village, nestled in the southeast of Jingling Town within Xinchang County, is a picturesque haven situated 22 kilometers from the county seat. It lies at the foot of the majestic Nineteen Peaks of Chuanyan, surrounded by the embrace of mountains and rivers, offering breathtaking views. The village is a harmonious union of three natural villages: Dacuntou, Xinwutou, and Huaifenqian. As the gateway to renowned attractions such as Qianzhang Yougu and Chongyang Palace, Yazhuang Village is separated from Xinchang Geopark by a mere river.

The mountains encircling Yazhuang Village are strikingly beautiful, with clouds and mist adding an ethereal quality to the landscape. A pristine stream meanders through the village, contributing to its status as a scenic spot with an exceptional natural ecological environment. Characterized by the distinctive ‘Danxia landform’, the mountains here are known for their ‘elegance, tranquility, strangeness, and danger’. The landscape is dominated by ‘peaks, valleys, caves, streams, and waterfalls’, earning comparisons to ‘the beauty of Lijiang River, the elegance of Guilin, and the strangeness of Yandang Mountain’, and even being dubbed ‘Zhangjiajie in eastern Zhejiang’.

Yazhuang Village serves as a photography creation base for the scenic and cultural beauty of Taimu Mountain in China, as well as a film and television location shooting base for CCTV. It is also recognized as a national self-driving tour base.
