The Yellow River Cultural Center is collectively referred to as the Yellow River Branch of the National Local Records Museum, Dongying Local Records Museum, and Dongying Yellow River Cultural Museum. It is the first venue with a ‘national-level title’ in Dongying City and a new cultural landmark in Dongying and even Shandong. The museum takes ‘The Great River Flows’ as its theme and is divided into two major sections: ‘The Mother River of China’ and ‘The Charming Yellow River Estuary’. Through visiting and learning, people can have a more intuitive and perceptual understanding of this capricious, irritable yet gentle mother river.
