The Yellow River Delta Zoo is a key public welfare and livelihood project constructed by the Dongying Municipal Government in 2012. The construction area of the park is about 1,000 mu, with a total investment of 450 million yuan. The park officially opened on October 1, 2013. The Yellow River Delta Zoo is a large-scale comprehensive urban zoo in the Yellow River Delta region that integrates wildlife viewing and protection, popular science education, and leisure and entertainment. The park covers an area of more than 1,000 mu and is divided into two major sections: animal exhibition area and amusement park. There are rare animals such as white rhinoceros, golden tiger, giraffe, hippopotamus, ring-tailed lemur, etc. in the park, with a total of more than 100 species and more than 1,000 animals. At present, our park has successfully bred more than 200 rare animals of more than 30 species such as golden tiger, white tiger, giraffe, ring-tailed lemur, alpaca, zebra, etc. The birth of these rare animal babies has added new vitality and energy to the park. The amusement park currently has 18 sets of amusement equipment. There are thrilling amusement equipment such as roller coasters and pendulum rides suitable for adults, as well as parent-child equipment such as large caterpillars and bubble ball halls suitable for children to play, which can meet the amusement needs of different people. Opening hours: 08:30 – 17:30 from April 1st to November 30th; 08:30 – 17:30 from December 1st to March 31st. Preferential policies: Children: free for those under 1. 4 meters (excluding).
