The Yellow River Delta Zoo is a key public welfare and livelihood project constructed by the Dongying Municipal Government in 2012. The construction area of the park is about 1,000 mu, with a total investment of 450 million yuan. The park officially opened on October 1, 2013. The park is divided into functional areas such as the welcome square, happy tribe, animal exhibition area, amusement park and theme restaurant.
