Yequgou Tourist Area is located by the picturesque Wanlv Lake, approximately 6 kilometers from the city center. The tourist area is nestled against the mountains and waters, facing Wanlv Lake, with unique resources and is the pioneer of wild interest tourism in China. It is named Yequgou for its secluded valleys, beautiful waters, peculiar trees, and strange rocks, embodying the essence of being ‘wild yet interesting’. The ‘wild’ is in nature, and the ‘interest’ is in participation, with ‘wild rafting’ being one of its wild interests. The Yequgou rafting river is about 2 kilometers long with a drop of 150 meters, taking approximately 60 minutes to complete, and is divided into four distinct sections.
Section one: The Wild Duck Lake Launch Area, named for the occasional appearance of wild ducks, is where the lake water, gathered from the streams of Daguishan Mountain, forms a lake with water quality meeting national first-class standards. The lake covers an area of 10,000 square meters with a water storage capacity of 38,000 cubic meters. The lakeside scenery is beautiful, with green trees, red flowers, and reflections. As a breeze blows, the clear waves ripple, like an eighteen-year-old girl, pure and beautiful, graceful and charming. The rafting launch area is situated by this beautiful Wild Duck Lake.

Section two: The Rapid Warrior Drift. The rapids section of the river has a significant drop and rapid water flow, with a thrilling ride down! The entire course is nearly 300 meters long, with a drop of over 60 meters. Along this section, there are times when big waves hit your face and times when you rush down rapidly, with waves holding back the flying boat, creating tension and excitement! It is a challenge of courage, boldness, and perseverance. Fighting in the rapids brings endless fun and joy!

Section three: The Forest Shade Leisure Drift, also known as the Forest Shade ‘tunnel’ drift, is like a tunnel across the mountain, cool and shaded, a section of the rafting river that slowly passes through a dense forest. Before your eyes are either lush green trees or clear green pools, and there is plenty of time for you to enjoy the scenery on both sides!

Section four: The Hundred-Meter Rock Cave Mysterious Drift requires you to steer a boat through a rock cave over a hundred meters deep. The entire rock cave is hidden from view, and at first glance, the entrance is pitch black, as if it were night during the day, with the sound of thunder echoing from time to time, causing fear and trembling. Inside, the cave scenery is peculiar, with a rich flavor and plenty of wild interest.
