Yinding Bridge is located at the junction of Qianhai and Houhai, and it is a single-hole stone arch bridge oriented from north to south.
Although the bridge may not be eye-catching, it was the main feature of the ancient Yanjing Eight Sights, known as ‘Yinding Mountain Viewing’. In the past, standing on the bridge allowed one to gaze at the sunset over the Western Hills, but now high-rise buildings have replaced the view. This bridge also serves as a ‘transfer station’ for visitors traveling between places such as the Prince Gong’s Mansion, Fire God Temple, and Lotus Market, with tourists filling the bridge all day long. Crossing the bridge to the west leads into Houhai Beiyan, where one can choose a coastal bar at night to experience the charm of Beijing’s nightlife. The bridge is open all year round, accessible 24/7.Yinding Bridge
