The Yingenmen City Tower was built during the Hongwu period of the Ming Dynasty. There used to be city walls connecting Daojia Mountain, Nancheng, Bomenshan, Dongmen, and Beimen, with a total length of 1299 zhang, surrounding and protecting Dongguan City. It is solid, tall, majestic and spectacular. Today, the Yingenmen City Tower still stands firm. With red walls and green tiles, upturned eaves and dougong brackets, it is magnificent. And its preserved Ming Dynasty base is particularly precious. The Ximen of Yingen has always been a symbol of the ancient city of Dongguan and an important coordinate of a famous historical and cultural city. The cultural square is a display of the new look of new Dongguan in the new century. Cultural relics and historical sites and modern cultural facilities complement each other and have certain historical value and appreciation value. After hundreds of years of wind and rain, the Yingen City Tower still stands firm and majestic.
