The Potherb Mustard Museum is located in Pingyao Village, Dongwu Town, Yinzhou District. From the pickling in large vats and small sales with buckets in the past to the current industrialized production and assembly line operations, the more than 500-year production history of potherb mustard in Yinzhou District will be presented one by one in the opened Potherb Mustard Museum. The museum mainly displays the history, types, processing and pickling techniques of Yinzhou potherb mustard and delicious foods made with pickled potherb mustard. It aims to protect and inherit the unique intangible cultural heritage of ‘Qiuga potherb mustard pickling technique’. In the process of increasingly industrialized food production, it preserves local delicacies and shows the unique charm of the simple labor mode.
