Yongding Tulou Xiangxu Tianya Mingyue Dao Immersive Theater

Tian Ya Ming Yue Dao Immersive Theater is a cultural and tourism project themed around the Tencent mobile game IP ‘Tian Ya Ming Yue Dao’, creating a unique blend of ‘Tulou architecture + traditional Chinese gaming + immersive theater + vacation homestay’. This project is located in the 470-year-old Huanxing Lou, originally housing 59 rooms on the first floor, with walls 1.8 meters thick, a water droplet radius of 62 meters, and covering an area of 3800 square meters. The outer layer of the building’s door is studded with iron plates, and there are three water channels on top of the door. The fourth floor features a watchtower, with complete defensive facilities, making it a historically defensible place. During the transition between the Ming and Qing dynasties, the door was damaged and later restored after a military conflict. In 1853, the Taiping Army entered the building and set it on fire, which was extinguished by a sudden heavy rain. The project maintains the original simple style of Huanxing Lou on the outside, while the interior is designed to meet the living needs of modern people with a traditional Chinese style in the Tulou homestay, deeply restoring the residential functions of the Tulou. Visitors can climb up to enjoy close-up views of the ancient walls, take photos under the moonlight, and there are also eight theater-themed rooms available for photo opportunities. The opening hours are from 09:00 to 21:00 all year round.
