Yongquan Spring is located in the Sujiazhuang Scenic Area, Liubu Town, southern mountainous area of Jinan, to the west of the Simen Tower. The spring water gushes from the rock crevices on the hillside of Baihu Mountain, spurting into a stone-built square pond that is 5 meters long and 4.5 meters wide through the mouth of a stone-carved dragon head, then overflowing from the southern bank and cascading down in three stages according to the mountain terrain, forming landscapes such as ‘Cliff Waterfall’, ‘Thin Water Flowing’, and ‘Adding Embroidery to Brocade’. Next to the pond stands the Yongquan Spring Stele, which was rebuilt in the third year of the Tianqi era of the Ming Dynasty (1623), and the Yongquan Bridge, which was built in the sixth year of the Wanli era. The opening hours are subject to the actual opening status on the day.
