Yongshan White Sparrow Temple is situated atop Mount Yongshan, reputedly built by the renowned monk Zhi Shi during the Six Dynasties period. The temple’s pavilion, Bai Que Ting, is inscribed with a couplet that reads: ‘The Buddhist temple flourished during the Qi and Liang dynasties, relying on future generations to seek the traces of the past.’
