The scenic area is nestled against the mountains and waters, facing the Jiakou River and backed by the Youlan Mountain range. During construction, it was built in accordance with the local terrain, following the mountain contours, creating a well-arranged layout.

Apart from various plant science education, Youlan Mountain · Fairy Tale Forest also offers a variety of participatory physical science equipment: air pressure experiments, elasticity experiments, and physical vortices, etc. From waterwheel culture to Archimedes’ water projects, children accustomed to tap water can experience the wisdom of the ancients through hands-on activities. There are also various expansion training projects such as climbing, jungle crossing, and Via Ferrata, allowing children to get close to nature in an original ecological environment, learning through play, and stimulating their potential. The Fairy Tale Forest has a graceful environment and rich scientific connotations, making it an ideal place for scientific observation, expansion training, knowledge dissemination, and leisure. Opening hours are from 09:30 to 16:30 on Mondays to Thursdays all year round; and from 09:30 to 18:30 on Fridays to Sundays all year round.
