Youyan Temple

Youyan Temple is located on the coast of the East China Sea. It was originally established in the second year of the Qiande period of the Northern Song Dynasty (A.D. 964). According to the Qing Dynasty’s Guangxu ‘Ninghai County Annals’, it was formerly known as Chongshou Temple. In the third year of the Dazhong Xiangxiangfu period of the Song Dynasty (A.D. 1010), it was renamed Yanshou Temple and has a history of more than a thousand years.
