Yuan Ying Guan in the Old Summer Palace is adjacent to Haiyan Hall on the west. It is located at the intersection of the north-south central axis of Changchun Garden and the east-west axis of Western-Style Buildings. It is a relatively spectacular European-style fountain landscape. In 1793 (the 58th year of Emperor Qianlong’s reign), British envoy George Macartney once visited here. Yuan Ying Guan is divided into three parts: the main building of Yuan Ying Guan, the Grand Waterworks, and the Water Viewing Platform. It was a residence built by Emperor Qianlong for Princess Fragrant. Opening hours: Open from 09:00 to 17:30 all year round. The specific business status is subject to the opening situation on that day.
