Yue Fei’s Tomb is located at No. 80 North Mountain Road, West Lake District, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province, also known as Yue’s Tomb and Yue Wang Temple. It is the burial site of Yue Fei, a famous general during the Southern Song Dynasty who resisted the Jurchen Jin dynasty. Despite its long history, the tomb remains relatively well-preserved. The architectural specifications were altered during its reconstruction in the 54th year of the Kangxi Emperor’s reign (1715).
In 1979, the tomb was fully restored according to the architectural style of the Southern Song period and is divided into three main sections: the Zhonglie Temple area, the Tomb Park area, and the Qi Zhong Temple area. In 1961, it was designated as a national key cultural relics protection unit by the State Council.
