Yuegu Tower is located at the foot of White Pagoda Mountain in Beihai Park. It was built in the twelfth year of Emperor Qianlong. The tower has a unique shape. Inside the tower, along the walls are inlaid rubbings and stone carvings of famous calligraphy works from the Wei and Jin Dynasties and onward, which were compiled under the order of Liang Shizheng and others. These are stone carving treasures of ancient Chinese calligraphy collections.
Opening hours: From January 1st to July 13th, open from 08:00 to 18:00 on Tuesdays to Sundays; closed all day on Mondays. From July 14th to August 31st, open from 08:00 to 18:00.
