Yuelai Art Museum is located on the 2nd floor of the Yuelai Ecological Pavilion in Chongqing, with a construction area of approximately 5,000 square meters, of which the exhibition area reaches 2,460 square meters.
On the basis of preserving the original architectural form of the Yuelai Ecological Pavilion, the ground floor and the second floor have been transformed into a display and experience space that integrates artistic creativity, humanistic spirit, and high technology.
Furthermore, a new literary and artistic institution that combines contemporary art collection, exhibition, and art education and research is being established.
Yuelai Art Museum adheres to an open international perspective, introduces classic arts from the East and West, establishes interactions between domestic and international artists, art institutions, and art projects.
By hosting high-quality international contemporary art exhibitions, it establishes an international exchange and display platform, promoting the vigorous development of contemporary Chinese art under the backdrop of globalization, as well as the exchange and cooperation between Eastern and Western cultures.
Opening hours are Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 to 17:00 all year round; closed all day on Mondays.
