The new exhibition hall of Yueqing City Museum is in trial operation, with the concept of ‘one mountain, one bay, one river’, and the display theme is ‘Melodious Yueqing’. The exhibition design is divided into four parts: the Natural Movement ‘Sounds of Nature as Pictures’, the Historical Movement ‘Flute Sounds Distant’, the Cultural Movement ‘Voices from All Corners’, and the Economic Movement ‘Concerted Brilliance’. It showcases the natural and cultural aspects of Yueqing’s Yandang Mountain and Yueqing Bay, the historical changes from prehistoric civilization to the war of liberation, the humanistic concerns of Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism, and civilian culture, as well as the entrepreneurial spirit of private economic development. It is understood that Yueqing City Museum currently has a collection of 4874 pieces, including 876 documentary artifacts. Among them, there are 148 valuable cultural relics, 15 second-level relics, and 133 third-level relics. Opening hours are all year round, Tuesday to Sunday, 9:00-17:00.
