Yuexiu Mountain

Yuexiu Mountain, also known as Yuexiu Hill and Yuewang Mountain, is located in Yuexiu District, Guangzhou City, China. With an altitude of 70 meters, it is a branch of Baiyun Mountain. During the Yongle period of the Ming Dynasty, a Guanyin Pavilion was built on the mountain and it was also called Guanyin Mountain. It is composed of the main peak Yuejinggang and seven surrounding hills including Panlonggang, Guihuagang, Changyaogang, Liyutougang, etc., and three lakes (Nanxiu Lake, Dongxiu Lake, and Beixiu Lake). The entire Yuexiu Park covers an area of 860,000 square meters. Yuexiu Mountain was an important strategic location on the sea in ancient times. Zhenhai Tower is built on the top of the mountain and is now one of the city symbols of Guangzhou.
Opening hours: Open all year round from 6:00 to 21:00.
