Yueya Bay, also known as Half Moon Bay, is located at the northern end of Beichangshan Island. Nestled against the mountains and facing the water, Yueya Bay is a beach renowned for its crescent shape, reminiscent of a new moon in the night sky, nestled between lush green mountains and clear blue waters. What sets it apart are the pebbles scattered across the beach, as white as jade and colorful, extremely beautiful. The main structures in the park include a 20-meter-tall fusion-style ‘Yueya Pavilion’, the ‘Viewing Waves Pavilion’ standing on a cliff, and a long corridor spanning about a kilometer. In front of the corridor, there is a ‘stone carpet’ of a hundred meters decorated with pebbles, giving a feeling of ‘walking on pearls’. The pebbles of Yueya Bay are particularly charming, creating a world of bejeweled pebbles, as white as jade, and as clear as amber. No matter where you pick one up, you would not want to let go of it.
Opening Hours: The park is open all year round from 07:30 to 17:30. Preferential Policies: 1. Complimentary Admission: Local citizens of Changdao Island are admitted for free. Children aged 6 (including 6) or under, or those with a height of 1.2 meters (including 1.2 meters) or less, are admitted for free; people aged 70 or above (including 70), people with disabilities, active and retired military personnel, and disabled veterans can enjoy free admission with valid identification. 2.
